Although appearing to be similar to the Bunshin no Jutsu, the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu creates clones of the user that are actual copies rather than illusions. The user’s chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, each receiving an equal fraction of the user’s overall power. The clones are capable of performing their own techniques, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows.

The captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy accidentally ate a paramecia-type Gum-Gum fruit, which caused his body to gain properties of highly stretchable rubber. In addition, Luffy eventually learned to use a mysterious ability known as Haki, which literally means “ambition”.

After Shanks saved his life when he was only 7 years old, Luffy decided to achieve the tantamount goals of finding the titular treasure and succeeding Gold Roger as King of the Pirates. Ten years later, wearing Shanks’ hat, he set out to sea to gather a crew and sail the Grand Line, where the One Piece is supposedly hidden.

In the manga adaptation, "Black★Rock Shooter ~Innocent Soul~", Black Rock Shooter is tasked with the duty of maintaining peace within the Threshold - a world between Heaven and Earth. One of the major differences between the manga and anime is the character’s signature jacket, which was replaced by a poncho in the manga. Her ★rock Cannon and Black Blade have also merged in the manga, in the form of a shape-shifting belt.

Not too sure what I think about the manga yet, but I do think this is another awesome cosplay by Ani-Mia! I couldn’t decide between the two photos, so I decided to feature both of them instead. Grell Suttcliff is a shinigami who is described to be over-the-top and flamboyant. He has a tendency to use female nouns and pronouns when referring to himself. In the manga and character guide, Grell has even expressed the desire to have a female body. He also has a tendency to put things in terms of theatre, as he refers to Angelina’s death as “the falling of curtains”, and even comparing his relationship to Sebastian Michaelis to the famous play, Romeo and Juliet.

In the past, Madam Red, whose full name is Lady Angelina Durless-Barnett, was a withdrawn and shy child because of she was self-conscious of her red hair. She admired and loved her sister, Rachel Durless, who later married Vincent Phantomhive, whom they were both in love with. She was generally lighthearted about her sister’s marriage to Vincent, stating that if the two people she loved most were happy, then she was happy as well.

In a way, I'm kind of glad that people are also as confused as I am when it comes to some of the cosplays going around. It makes me feel like I’m not behind with these things after all!

Another one from that Philippine convention back in 2010 taken by Nica Tanjutco. I thought it was someone from Rosario Vampire, but I don’t recognize the outfit at all.

In a local, Philippine convention back in 2010, there were several pretty cosplays that were submitted to Cosplay Holic, but I couldn't identify them at all. There’s not much to go on with this photo since we can’t see much of her outfit, but I’m hoping someone here was able to get a better shot (or even look) at her. Thanks to Tori for sharing this and Nica Tanjutco for the awesome photography!

Before joining the SSS, Shiina lived in the deepest underground level, a place not yet controlled by the guild. Yuri and Noda refer to Shiina as the “underground” or the “final” boss, because their first meeting resulted in bloodshed. Shiina also attacked Oyama, Cha, and Hinata relentlessly and the group was only able to escape her wrath by returning to the Afterlife School where they regrouped and planned a counter-attack.

Despite being hyperactive and sometimes childish, Yui can also be “jokingly” rude to her colleagues, and even throw trash talk to Hinata and the others. Her upbeat personality may have stemmed from her being paralyzed from the neck down due to a car accident when she was still alive. Although it is unknown how she died, it can be assumed that her body somehow broke down in some way.
