I don’t know who this is and what is with that "x" mark on his gun, but that is some pretty impressive detailing! Even the scars on his face look very well done! Not only is this character unfamiliar to me, but I can’t even tell if the character is a boy or a girl! But I’m pretty sure the cosplayer is a girl though? If not a very handsome young man!


We have too many blond-haired, blue-eyed characters, so he could be any one of them, but perhaps that jacket will be a vital clue for those of you who like playing this blog game. Thanks to Rhianne for sending this in!

Well now, will you look at that? This category’s finally come back to life! All thanks to this… creepy looking cosplay that I can’t seem to get myself to ignore.

Anyone know who this blue-skinned, blue-haired character with rosaries could be? With all those bandages on, I’d think he or she is either unwell, or undead!

I gotta hand it to this cosplayer, her scepter(?) looks really sturdy, unlike the usual paper and card board we see in props! Since it’s probably made of wood or plastic, I bet you she can knock out any creepy otaku that comes her way!

But I digress, what character is she cosplaying anyway? One thing's for sure though: she and/or her character really loves cats! And I really like her cat ears hat! Thanks to Tokiya for sending this in!

Well, what can you expect? It is Comiket Season, so there will be a ton of awesome cosplays that I don’t know about!

Now, I’m not much of a sports fan to begin with, and that doesn’t change much when it’s an anime or manga series. But I can’t seem to shake off the feeling that this isn’t even from an anime. I think she’s a baseball mascot from a real team, and Japan is well-known for its love of baseball.

She’s a cute, red-haired, bishoujo, but with only a portrait shot like this, she could probably be anyone! I’d have better lucky identifying that character behind her (who’s either Kyon or Koizumi Itsuki from The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi)!

I thought I'd finished going through all of the unknown cosplays I had, but I guess I have more hidden away in my older folders. Looks like I have a lot more organizing to do!

To be honest, that looks more like a hanbok (the Korean national dress) than a kimono. However, this was taken in Japan’s Comiket 78, so it should be from an anime or manga, even if it is a Korean series, right?

I’ll leave you guys to tell me who she is, because I really have no clue. She’s very cute though, wouldn’t you agree? Thanks to Ingrid for sending this in!

Alright guys, here’s another “unknown” for you, because I’ve given up trying to figure this one out.

I know the girl on the left is Takane Manaka from LovePlus, but as for the other girl(?) beside her, I’m about as clueless as it gets. There’s not a lot of information with regards to this game, so she might be a minor character unlisted in wikipedia. Then again, she could just as easily be from a completely different series.

So how about it? Any ideas? Thanks to Yuri for sending this!

When Nagi Souchirou and Bob Mikahara came to Toudou Academy, they intended to rule the school by beating up anyone who got in their way, just like they had done in previous schools. Little did they know that Toudou was no ordinary school; it was founded to teach and integrate different fighting styles and some of its students posses supernatural abilities such as pyrokinesis, precognition, and superhuman strength. After an altercation with the Executive Club, Souchirou and Bob join the only surviving club that dares to oppose them: the Juken Club.

Although I know this is from Tenjou Tenge, I have no idea who these girls are. Anyone care to shed some light into their identities please? Thanks to Paula for sending this in!

If this is another Luka cosplay that I don’t know of, I think I just might cry. Then again, I’m not a huge fan of Luka’s songs, so I guess it can’t be helped that these end up in the unknown section of Cosplay Holic.

If I had to guess, I would say she’s Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier. If not, perhaps one of the pirates from One Piece, but I looked through some of the main characters from that series without much luck as to who this cosplayer is portraying to be!

Late for the party! Photos from Japan’s Summer Comiket 2011 are probably all over the net by now, but I had to schedule a lot of cosplays before I started on this event!

In any case, let’s get started with something hot! It was literally scorching hot during the Comiket, but the cosplayers didn’t seem to mind, especially this girl! But who is this character she cosplaying as?

In a way, I'm kind of glad that people are also as confused as I am when it comes to some of the cosplays going around. It makes me feel like I’m not behind with these things after all!

Another one from that Philippine convention back in 2010 taken by Nica Tanjutco. I thought it was someone from Rosario Vampire, but I don’t recognize the outfit at all.

In a local, Philippine convention back in 2010, there were several pretty cosplays that were submitted to Cosplay Holic, but I couldn't identify them at all. There’s not much to go on with this photo since we can’t see much of her outfit, but I’m hoping someone here was able to get a better shot (or even look) at her. I thought Kipi was cosplaying a character from Mai Otome or something, but it appears I’m wrong. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this character before though; maybe I even featured her already, but I’m really not sure.

You’ve probably noticed this by now, but most of the unknown cosplays I have been featuring lately are the ones from Winter Comiket 2010. Why? That’s because until now, I haven’t been able to finish sorting out all the emails I’ve gotten from this convention!

So if you’re wondering why I haven’t replied to your emails yet, this photo spam is probably the culprit. Maybe I need to make a new email account for Cosplay Holic, haha! Thanks to Winnie for sending this in!

If this is a Vocaloid of an UTAUloid character- I can’t keep up with these cosplayers and their character choices! As you can see, we are almost up to 100 Unknowns, but more than 70% have been identified thanks to you, my readers!

Better still, with more that 1000 cosplay features on Cosplay Holic, we have been able to link 30% of what would have been lost photos back to their respective owners! I never would have imagined this was possible and the cosplayers are very happy to have been identified and credited!

I could have sworn I’ve seen these two somewhere before… but now I can’t remember from where! I thought it was Bakemonogatari, but the character list doesn’t include a girl with flowers in her hair.
