Known to be a hard worker, Marisa is trying to catch up to Reimu with her secret training and magic development. This makes her a good contrast to other humans appearing in the series because most of them either have natural born talent like Reimu, or strong abilities like Sakuya. So she is sometimes referred as the “most human-ish human” in Touhou Project.

Aeon is a member of a group that watches over and preserves the flow of time. Once he became aware of Galamoth's plan to send the Time Reaper to destroy Dracula and change history, Aeon pulled together fighters from different parts of the Castlevania timeline and placed them into a time rift. He then set them against each other, and even battled them himself, hoping to find the one with the most chance of defeating the Time Reaper.

The oldest among the Sailor Senshi, Sailor Pluto has been described as distant and somewhat lonely. This is possibly due to duty of being stationed at the Space-Time door entrusted to her by Queen Serenity. However, she does consistently display warmth and affection for Chibiusa, and later cares for Hotaru along with Michiru and Haruka.

In recent chapters of the manga as well as the second season of the anime, it was revealed that Sebastian Michaelis wasn’t always the perfect butler that everyone knew. In fact, he and his master, Ciel Phantomhive, often got on each other’s nerves during the first few days (or perhaps even weeks) of Ciel’s return as the head of the Phantomhive household. In the end, they managed to sort out their differences and “compromised” to some extent.

Known to be a Quest class demon, Karasu has the ability to use his aura to create bombs undetectable by lower level demons. If need be, he can also create bombs within his victims, and even use his own body as an explosive. The mask he wears over his mouth acts as a stabilizer for his uncontrollable powers.

I don’t like this character mainly because he made Kurama suffer a lot during their fight at the tournament. But I have to admit, this is a very good cosplay of him. Thanks again to Fumiki for sending this in!

Like Sephiroth before him, Kadaj’s trip into the Lifestream does not actually kill him. He eventually revived himself along with two more Remnants of Sephiroth, Loz and Yazoo, inside the Northern Cave Crater as the Turks were collecting Jenova's head. The three of them effortlessly defeated the Turks before deciding to locate Jenova's head, that of which the Turks had somehow managed to escape with.

Once a nurse under Ukari Teruo (Dr. Pal Meraktis), Namina Minami (Alita Tiala) was Ukari’s assistant during  Kitaki Takita’s (Wocky Kitaki’s) critical operation. Ukari failed to extract the bullet in Takita’s heart, but the doctor did not dare to admit this as Takita was the heir of a family of feared gangsters. Minami agreed to keep this failure a secret and proposed marriage to Tiaki in order to gain all of his inheritance the moment he dies from his injuries.

Such an innocent-looking girl, you wouldn’t think she’d be capable of something so devious. Thanks to Clara for sending this in!

A kunoichi from the Oniwabanshu, Sarutobi Ayame met Gintoki when she fell through his roof. When she tried to convince him that he had inappropriate relations with her, he briefly played along despite knowing that she was lying to get his help. Ever since then, Ayame has become infatuated with Gintoki, much to his exasperation. Because oh her extreme masochism, she thinks her feelings for him are encouraged, as she enjoys being put down and threatened.

Faced with no other option, Akira left for the city of Toshima as a fugitive falsely accused of murder. Upon his arrival, he was harassed by a group of thugs, only to be saved by a man dressed in black, who brutally murdered his attackers with his sword. The man threatened Akira as well, but when he showed too much pride to beg for his life, his “savior” decided to let him live.

I’m guessing that the man dressed in black is actually Shiki, but I haven’t seen the anime nor played the games. In any case, this is yet another great cosplay by the late Saya! Thanks again to Ophelia for sending this in!

A weak-looking girl with an “incurable disease”, Senjogahara Hitagi is in the same class as Araragi Koyomi, but she rarely speaks. During her first year of high school, she encountered a mysterious crab, and for whatever reason, she became weightless. She has avoided contact with everyone ever since, and threatens anyone who discovers her secret.

I was wondering why she’s holding a cutter like that. I’m guessing that’s what she uses for her threats. So much for being a weak girl? Thanks to Kyo for sending this in!

In one of the episodes of the Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, Yuki and Haruhi acted as stand-ins for four-member band in their school cultural festival. Surprisingly (or unsurprisingly), Yuki was able to memorize the music piece just by looking at it, and played the guitar flawlessly on stage. Kyon later commented that Yuki probably played along with Haruhi to keep her from being bored.

First appearing to be “Korin” from Hotohori’s harem, Nuriko is one of the seven Suzaku warriors and he is, in fact, a man. Korin was the name of his younger sister who died at a young age, and Nuriko began dressing like her to keep her memory alive. He later comes to terms with the fact that his cross-dressing resulted from the unyielding pain of the loss of his sister, and that he had been trying to live his life the way Korin would have, not as he would have.

I think this may be Saya, but I’m not completely sure. Can anyone verify this for me? Thanks to Sammy for sending this in!

A 1st-class SOLDIER who rebelled against Shinra, Genesis Rhapsodos went AWOL hoping to find a cure for his illness, degradation. He is an end result of Project G, an experiment involving a woman named Gillian was injected with Jenova cells before her cells were harvested and injected into Genesis when he was still a fetus. Genesis is considered a traitor to Shinra, but he is a close friend of Angeal Hewly’s as well as Sephiroth’s.

Although the contrast is pretty high on this photo, I liked the sinister effect that it gives to the cosplayer. Thanks again to Julia for sending this in!

A third-year student and president of the Fujimi High School Kendo Club, Busujima Saeko is a calm and collected girl with a sense of pride in her skills. Her weapon of choice is the bokken or wooden sword, and is an expert in close combat fighting. He love for kendo is probably influenced by her father, who had traveled abroad for a martial arts tournament.

Saito Hajime once left the Shinsengumi to apparently join Kashitarou Itou's group of Imperial National Guards. However, it was later revealed that he was under orders from Hijikata Toshizo to infiltrate and gather information regarding Itou’s plans. He successfully completes his mission and returns to the Shinsengumi after Itou’s assassination.

I don’t know what it is about this photo that’s so mesmerizing, but it’s a highly convincing cosplay of Saito! Thanks again to Michelle for sending this in!
